PROJECT
To create a smart home sleep system designed to mask common indoor and outdoor noises to help people sleep better.
ROLE
As User Experience Design Lead, I conducted field research, created flow diagrams, built wireframes and a controls system, designed iconography, and drafted the first round of visual designs for iOS & Android apps.

Mobile app flow diagrams with full size screens for:
• First Time Setup
• Main Menu
• Add Nightingale Devices
• Adding a Room
• Add a Location
• Settings Menu
Icons were inspired by metaphors from the physical world, music, and recognizable UI patterns.
Created a control system, which was key to the success of this product.
I created an animation for the setup flow to communicate that Nightingale devices require 2 outlets in order to plug into the wall.
Immersive experience concept - screen automatically switches to a dark color scheme when in sleep mode.
